The show was in Regina, Saskatchewan, an outdoor, winter, illuminated sculpture festival. We called our section of the park Rawry & Pohly: The Complete Collection as we were showcasing close to all of our outdoor illuminated artworks (just short a couple that were privately collected).
Frost Festival 2025 saw a lot of 'firsts' from us. Our first ever live snowboard painting and auction, our first ever illuminated sketchworks, and our first ever illuminated photo wall Poorly Drawn Wings, 2025.
We wanted to play with lights to teach the public how to draw the park's most habituated animal, the rabbit. We created giant lined cue cards, threaded them through with LED rope lights that animated the shapes, and bent them to create step by step instructions for how someone would draw a bunny.
We used our previously constructed illuminated a-frame signage to write the instructions for how to draw the bunnies using the LED artworks as visual guides.
Our section of the park was wildly popular and attendees complimented us frequently on the displays. The love for cute animals and the way they were represented was unmatched!
